Following the parade — A reading of the Disability Justice Day Proclamation, reaffirming the City’s commitment to Disability Justice.

Green up day at Sunrise Farm is an annual event welcoming residents, staff, family members, and community volunteers to help clean-up our gardens and plant annuals and flower boxes for the summer season. We’ll have burgers on the grill, and everyone is welcome to join us for a spring barbeque once the planting is done!

The Visions Board of Directors invite the public to our Annual Meeting and Open House for our new administrative office space at 1 Court Street in Lebanon. The Annual Meeting will be held in the Osher classroom space on the 2nd Floor and the Open House, immediately following the meeting, will be in our offices on the 3rd Floor, suite 374. This is an opportunity to learn about what Visions has achieved over the past year and learn about our organization’s strategic directions for the coming year and beyond. Join Visions residents, staff, families and board members at this annual Open House at our founding Sunrise Farm location in Enfield! Enjoy speakers, refreshments, live music, lawn games and tours.

We are thrilled to welcome John Fenley as our featured speaker! John is well known throughout the Upper Valley and beyond as a tireless advocate for disability rights. He currently serves as Community Outreach Coordinator for SPARK! Community Center in Lebanon. Since 2008, John has served in leadership roles with multiple organizations focused on disability rights in the Upper Valley and throughout the state. He served as President of People First of New Hampshire and was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Council on Developmental Disabilities. John is also known as an engaging and entertaining speaker, having presented as a keynote speaker for direct support provider conferences and training events in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Celebrate the first anniversary of Disability Justice Day in the City of Lebanon and the 35th Anniversary of the ADA with information booths, fun activities, and a parade! Enjoy the Farmer's Market while helping us spread the word that we all benefit when people with disabilities are welcome and included in our community. Bring your own Disability Pride signage for the parade or join our sign-making table before the parade begins. Everyone is welcome to this family friendly celebration!

This event is a collaboration between Visions and the City of Lebanon Recreation, Arts & Parks Department with participation by Road to Independence (yes, there will be donkeys!) and Project Search. More collaborators TBD!

Mark your calendars, spread the word, and plan to join us! The HOP Spring Film Series is featuring The Ride Ahead, an award-winning documentary by New Hampshire film makers Dan and Samuel Habib. This is a free, non-ticketed event, co-sponsored by Visions, SNSC, and Zack's Place, on Sunday, April 6th at 2 PM at the Loew Auditorium in Hanover. Visions for Creative Housing Solutions celebrates its 10th Anniversary and Disability Justice Day in Colburn Park on Thursday, July 25th from 4 – 6 PM!  Dance to the music of FLAME the Band, a touring group from Upstate New York whose members all have disabilities, enjoy the Farmer’s Market, and be a part of Disability Justice Day in Lebanon as Mayor Tim McNamara makes that proclamation. The ADA is celebrating its 34th Anniversary and Visions is celebrating 10 years of providing housing and community supports for people with developmental and similar disabilities in the Upper Valley. Everyone is invited to this fun, free, family-friendly event! 

Join Visions residents, staff, and fellow volunteers as we clean up the gardens and plant annuals\, then celebrate the beginning of summer with a barbeque!

Bring gardening gloves, sunscreen, and bug repellant. Tools will be provided!

It’s never too early to make summer plans! This year we hope your plans will include joining us at Fisher Cats Stadium on Saturday, July 29th, when Visions will serve as the Fisher Cats official nonprofit partner and throw the first pitch for the game!

Visions for Creative Housing Solutions is pleased to announce the March 1st launch of the public phase of its capital campaign to fund the construction of its third location, at 11 Park Street in Hanover. The public is invited to join Visions staff, residents, its Board of Directors, and members of the community for an open house at the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College on March 1 from 5 to 7pm to learn more about the organization and this exciting project.
